Treprostinil is generally safe and efficacious prostacyclin analog that is recommended for patients with NYHA class III/IV pulmonary hypertension. The reported side effects of standard dosing of treprostinil include fatigue, facial flush, headache, chest pain, dyspnea, right ventricular heart failure and pallor.
