The noise level during the period of sedation administration as a percentage of either the maximum, minimum or average noise level for each individual bedside. The noise level during the sedation period was significantly greater when compared to the bedside's minimum noise level (p < 0.001) and significantly lower then the bedside's maximum noise level (p < 0.001). However there was no difference between these 3 time periods (A, B or C) with respect to these differences.
