Born and raised in NY, went to Tulane School of Medicine and Tropical Diseases where I received my MD and MPH. I did my general surgery and urology residency at Lenox Hill Hospital. A one year sexual medicine fellowship was completed after residency at UCSD under the mentorship of Irwin Goldstein. During fellowship I was able to see both men and woman who had sexual dysfunction. He has significant research experience in urologic oncology with a number of book chapters, publications, and podium talks across a number of different periodicals and conferences. In addition to his research experience, he has been involved in quality improvement committees with the UNC hospital system as well as at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

Following finishing his internship he spent 3 years of training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology O&GA in Egypt, during this period he obtained a Master degree from Alexandria University.
