Increases in Upper-Body Strength are Dependent on Training Modality and Independent of Initial Strength Level and Fat-Free Mass Index in Women

Strength was determined from one-repetition maximum (1RM) free weight and modality specific upper-body press measured before and after 12 weeks of periodized RT with each modality.
