Dr. Moore is a Gynecologic Oncologist and research scientist in The Program in Women's Oncology at Women and Infants Hospital / Brown University and is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Dr. Moore is the director of the Molecular Therapeutics Laboratory, The Center for Biomarkers and Emerging Technology (CBET) as well as the Associate Director for The Program in Women's Oncology at Women and Infants Hospital. Dr. Moore is recognized as a national and international expert on biomarkers for the detection of ovarian cancer and led the team that developed the Risk of Ovarian Malignancy Algorithm (ROMA), a test that was recently cleared by the US FDA, which detects ovarian cancer in women with an ovarian cyst or pelvic mass. ROMA is now available for clinical use worldwide.

Her research interest is focused on primary prevention of chronic diseases through the study of the environmental determinants, and mainly nutrition, of diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, fractures and osteoporosis. She is also interested in public health nutrition issues and infant, child and maternal nutrition-related issues, such as the promotion and protection of breastfeeding in the community and dietary guidelines for pregnant and lactating women.
Dr. Ekaterine Tskitishvili graduated from Tbilisi State Medical University (Faculty of General Medicine) in Georgia and received her M.D. in 1995. She completed her internship and residency programs at the State Scientific-Research Institute of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology in Tbilisi and worked as an Obstetrician-Gynecologist in Georgia until 2003. Upon receiving the Japanese Government Scholarship, she attended the Perinatology Group at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine in Japan in 2003. Dr. E. Tskitishvili received her Ph.D. in Medical Sciences from Osaka University in 2008 and rejoined the same team as a fellow of

Upon receiving the Japanese Government Scholarship, she attended the Perinatology Group at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine in Japan in 2003. Dr. E. Tskitishvili received her Ph.D. in Medical Sciences from Osaka University in 2008 and rejoined the same team as a fellow of the Japanese Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). In 2010 she was invited to join the Laboratory of Development Biology and Tumors at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology/Department of Clinical Sciences of the University of Liege in Belgium, where she currently holds a position of the researcher. Her research interests are connected to: preeclampsia, gestational diabetes mellitus, FGR (IUGR), preterm birth, neonatal hypoxic-ischemic brain damage (perinatal brain damage).
