Scrotal calcinosis, Calcium metabolism, Surgery
This was a 35-year-old patient with no previous pathological history who had been presenting with a pruritic, painless, progressively enlarging scrotal swelling since the age of 30. On examination, the lesions were multiple, nodular, mobile in relation to the deep plane, confluent, non-inflammatory and overall measuring 4 cm/1 cm (Figure 1). The nodules contained a thick, whitish fluid. The testicles and epididymides were clinically normal. Surgical excision was performed under local anaesthetic. Biological phosphocalcium levels were normal.
