Post Covid Skin Lesions

Introduction

A 16-years-old patient, with no particular medical history, including no medication, admitted for erythematous lesions on the second right toe, papular lesions on the sole of the foot (feet si les 2 pieds) in addition to lesions on the palms of both hands, without fever or associated respiratory or digestive symptoms. An in-depth medical interview revealed that the patient had a nasopharyngitis during the previous 3 weeks, that his sister had a dry cough and his father had a cough and anosmia. The blood test showed a CPR at 16 mg/l, the hemogram, the ANA and the ANCA were without abnormalities. Both the patient and his sister tested negative for Covid-19 using the PCR based method while his father tested positive. An additional serological test found Ig M and Ig G anti-Covid-19. The evolution was marked by a spontaneous resolution of the dermatological lesions Figure 1, Figure 2 and Figure 3.
