Spontaneous uterine vessel rupture in the peripartum period is a rare but life-threatening condition. We report an unusual case of a spontaneous rupture of uterine vessels leading to hypovolemic shock, two hours postpartum. A 32-year-old patient, gravida 2 para 1, had a first uneventful pregnancy.
