Tamer A Gheita (MD) is a Professor of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology at Kasr Al-Ainy School of Medicine, Cairo University. He attained the EULAR Certificate for Rheumatic diseases, Zurich, Switzerland and is Editor-in-Chief of the Egyptian Rheumatologist (Elsevier). He is serving as an Editorial Board Member of the European and African Journals of Rheumatology, International Journal of Rheumatic Diseases and the Annals of Pediatric Rheumatology. He has published more than 100 papers in reputed journals and several books. He is a Consultant at many JCI accredited hospitals and shared in several medical convoys to underprivileged communities.

Prof. El-Ghazaly has publications in foot, ankle and sports surgery and deformity correction. Prof. El-Ghazaly is member of EOA, EGAA, ESSKA, ISAKOS, and SICOT. Research interests includes sports medicine research relating to the knee and shoulder joints, patella-femoral joint, cartilage damage/protection and joint reconstructive surgery (ligament reconstruction / bone re-alignment surgery).

Maria D. Mayan earned her bachelor's degree in pharmacy from the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) in 2000 and her PhD in biology from Complutense University of Madrid (Spain) in 2006. She had two postdoctoral positions in London, at the Imperial College London and Clinical Sciences Centre (MRC, UK). She now leads the Cartilage Biology Research Group (INIBIC, Spain). Her research is focused on the study of the physiopathology and molecular mechanisms responsible for the development of osteoarthritis. Her research group has obtained novel results crucial to understanding the physiology of articular chondrocytes in cartilage, which will help to explain the physiopathology of cartilage-related diseases. She has received two awards for her work. Dr. Maria Mayan's work has so far resulted in several scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals and books. She is co-inventor of two patent applications and has been an invited speaker at several international conferences. Dr. Maria Mayan has organized a number of international and national workshops and courses. She is actively involved in a number of European research projects in the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme for Research and Innovation. She acts as peer reviewers of many scientific journals and as an evaluator of project and grant applications for national and international research associations and agencies.
Wangdo Kim is Faculty of Human Kinetics, Biomechanics Laboratory, Technical University of Lisbon, Portugal. His original training was in mechanical engineering; he has a BSc from Seoul National University and a PhD from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA, USA. His research interests focused on: Human movement control is assumed localized in internal structures. In this vein, nerve system controls individual muscle, which is basis of conventional approach. The new approach is rather a process is distributed over the performer and environment system; the interaction from individual and the environment regulates movements through muscle synergy or co-activated muscles.

During his MD studies he did clerkships at the University of Bonn, the University College London, the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the University of Zurich. Currently, he is Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Medical University of Graz. He has been visiting research fellow at the Center for Advanced Orthopaedic Studies at the Harvard Medical School. His research has included basic, translational and clinical studies in various musculoskeletal conditions including osteoporosis and osteoarthritis. He is serving as an associate editor of Plastic and Aesthetic Research and
