It is with profound pleasure that I welcome readers, reviewers, editors, and authors to this inaugural issue of the Journal of Nutritional Medicine and Diet Care (JNMDC). The Journal of Nutritional Medicine and Diet Care is an open access, peer reviewed, scientific journal that provides rapid dissemination of research in all areas of human and animal nutrition, dietetic practice and public health nutrition, dietary interventions, nutrigenomics, molecular nutrition, and other related topics of interest. We recognize that the success of this journal will depend on the scientific merit and quality of manuscripts that are published therein. Therefore, we aim to publish original research, reviews, case reports, commentaries, short communications, and other types of submission of high caliber to maintain a standard of professional integrity in assessment and publication. The Journal of Nutritional Medicine and Diet Care has appointed an editorial board of prominent and reputable members well versed in their fields who are prepared to commit their effort and intellect to this end.
